Private Exercise Programs
An Accredited Exercise Physiologist is a tertiary qualified health professional equipped with extensive skills and knowledge to safely assess individuals and prescribe and deliver exercise interventions. Exercise Physiologists are qualified to work with both healthy populations and clients with various pathologies. Exercise Physiologists aim to assist with improving physical and functional capabilities in clients with pathologies in an effort to promote active long-term self-management of condition. Evidence has demonstrated that exercise can assist with self-management and or rehabilitation of the following conditions –
- Diabetes
- Obesity
- Heart disease
- Chronic pain
- Muscular and joint pain
- Depression
- Arthritis
- Cancer
- Hypertension (High blood pressure)
- Hypercholesterolaemia (High Cholesterol)
- Osteoporosis
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
