Dietitics Services
All of our nutrition and dietetic services are provided by an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who is also a fully qualified Exercise Physiologist (EP).
We focus on a high standard of client-centred evidence-based services, aiming to improve health, well being and/or sports performance.
What does a Dietitian/Exercise Physiologist do?
An APD/EP advises individuals, groups and industry on nutrition and physical activity-related matters, and has the clinical training to modify diets and formulate exercise programs to help manage conditions such as:
- Obesity
- Cardiovascular disease
- Diabetes
- Cancer
- Gastrointestinal disorders
- Osteoporosis
What services are provided?
A wide range of nutrition, dietetic and exercise services are provided to assist with improvements in health, well being and performance. These include:
- Assessing people's nutritional needs and physical activity requirements.
- Developing personalised eating plans and physical activity programs.
- Working with the client to set health and behaviour-related goals and strategies.
- Providing nutrition and exercise counselling, information and support.
- Formulating sports specific eating and exercise plans.
- Providing services under an Enhanced Primary Care Plan for complex/chronic medical conditions.
- Conducting dual consultations for partners, siblings, parent/child.
- Providing consultancy services to corporate organisations.
